With the new year of 2022 everyone thinks of healthy eating so here is a wee round-up of some of 20 of my favourite quick and easy healthy recipes for you to try in 2022. For those counting calories these are all under 500 calories but more importantly, they are all super tasty, easy to make and well-balanced too.

Healthy eating to me doesn’t mean hitting the diet charts and counting every calorie, skipping carbs and avoiding sugar like the proverbial plague.

Instead for me, healthy recipes are balanced. A little of everything. Moderation is the name of the game. You shouldn’t deprive yourself of tasty food to go healthy.

Food is healthy, cook with good fresh ingredients, cook from scratch and you can’t go far wrong. Plus if recipes are quick and easy to make you are more likely to step into the kitchen and get cooking.
