How To Clean The Microwave Naturally – With A Lemon!

Author: Karon Grieve Published : September 2012

Detox and clean the microwave naturally

Lemons, I love them, they are so incredibly useful (and not just in a G&T) and this is just another of the quick household tricks they can pull off with ease…..

How To Clean The Microwave Naturally – Use A Lemon Of Course!

No, I’m not making lemon tea, this is super fast cleaning for your microwave oven.

Slice a lemon in half and pop it into a cup and cover with water.

Place in the microwave and cook for 1 minute.

Remove and wipe down the interior with a damp cloth.

The citric acid in the lemon cuts through grease so really helps remove those annoying splatters on the microwave interior. Freshens and kills bugs too.
