Ten Things That Make Me Feel Good

Author: Karon Grieve Published : February 2011

Yesterday I received a lovely letter from the lady who organised the talk I did last week for the Dalry WRI group.  It was a thank you note in a pretty card. It got me thinking about the things that make us feel great.

Getting something nice in the mail.

    My Lovely Hubby.
    Catching up with family.
    Cats purring contentedly.
Norman the cockerel doing his Monty Python walk across the chicken pen.
Knowing my boys are safe and well.
The sun shining on my face as I walk the dogs.
    A nice movie.
Putting the world to rights over a drink with friends.
Reading a well thought out Blog post…mine or a Blogging friends.
    Life……

    Superb photos, Karon.
My ten things, not in any order of preference:
    (1) Answering the phone and hearing my son, daughter or 2 yr old grandson’s voice.
    (2) Time with my elderly sisters.
    (3) My husband occasionally bringing me breakfast in bed (always Vegemite on toast!)
    (4) Unexpected finds at flea markets/thrift shops.
    (5) Frogs croaking in unison ALL night.
    (6) Kangaroos grazing in our paddock.
    (7) Our dogs and cat all playing/sleeping together.
    (8) The sweet aroma of the Ironbark forest on a hot day.
    (9) Our garden in Spring.
    (10) The glimpse of distant snow-capped peaks.
