Horse Tail is one of the oldest plants on the planet, in fact it was around at the time of the dinosaurs. It grows around scrubland especially near railway lines. The plant is chock full of silica which makes it perfect for nail strengthening.
Pick a few stems of horse tail and chop up roughly. you only need a couple of spoonfuls of this funny little Christmas tree like plant.
Put it in a cup and pour over boiling water to almost fill.
Leave for at least 2 hours.
Strain off the herbs and pour the liquid into a little jar with a lid.
Stir in a teaspoonful of natural honey.
Set aside for 2 weeks to let everything blend and mature.
I rebottle mine into a little wide mouthed jar that is big enough to pop a finger into. Or use a little bottle and dip a small brush into it.
Either dip each nail into the liquid or paint the liquid on to each nail. Let your fingers dry naturally. Do this every night for 14 days to build up strength in your nails.
