Homemade Healthy Refined Sugar-free Granola

A super easy recipe for refined sugar free granola that makes the perfect breakfast or snack and a great foodie gift too

Ingredients
 

  • 250 g porridge oats
  • 50 g coconut flakes
  • 150 g chopped mixed nuts
  • 40 g mixed seeds pumpkin, sesame and sunflower
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 3 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 egg white
  • 150 g dried mixed fruit

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 150C and line a large baking tray
  • Whisk the egg white till frothy in a large bowl and stir in all the other ingredients apart from the dried fruit.
  • Tip on to the lined baking tray spreading out evenly and bake for 40-45 minutes till golden
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before adding the dried fruit and packing into jars

Notes

This recipe makes approximately 1 kilo of homemade granola which is about 20 servings.
it will keep for up to a month in a closed jar.
