Stilton Pear and Walnut Blue Cheese Dip

A quick and easy dip that will add flavour to sandwiches, roasted veggies, pasta or use as a dip with veggies

Equipment

  • mini food processor

Ingredients
 

  • 10 g walnut halves halves
  • 50 g Stilton or other blue cheese
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 tsp honey clear honey
  • 2 pears 2 small pears or 1 large pear
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Toast the walnuts in a dry pan for approx 1 minute till golden and releasing their aroma
  • Tip nuts into mini food processor and whizz to powder
  • Add the Stilton and cream cheese and whizz till smooth
  • Peel and chop pears and add to processor along with honey and seasoning and whizz till smooth
  • Chill for 30 minutes before serving

Notes

Serve this delicious stilton, pear and walnut dip with veggies or crisps/chips or as a filling for sandwiches or with a salad as a dressing too
