Scotch Whisky Hot Chilli Sauce

A super simple whisky hot sauce to spice up your food and drinks too

Ingredients
 

  • 500 ml whisky
  • 3 chilli peppers

Instructions
 

  • Pierce the chilli peppers with a needle to release the flavour
  • Pop into a jar with the whisky
  • Shake well and set aside for a week then remove chilli and decant into small sterillised bottles
  • Use as a hot sauce on food or in cocktails

Notes

Calories shown for the entire 500ml bottle of hot sauce.
This will keep for up to a year.
You can use dried chilli peppers but only use 2 and leave them in for half the time as dried chilli peppers have more heat than the fresh ones.
