3 Ingredient Cheese Scones

These super easy 3 ingredient cheese scones are so quick and easy to make using just 3 ingredients from the kitchen

Ingredients
 

  • 300 g self-raising flour
  • 150 g cheddar cheese grated
  • 275 g Greek yoghurt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 180C and line a baking sheet with baking paper
  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl and add a pinch of salt
  • Roll out scone dough to 2cm/1" and cut out scones with 7cm/2" cutter
  • you can glaze the scones with water, milk, milk and egg or egg if you like. This adds a a lovely golden glaze to your scones
  • Bake for approx 20 minutes at 180C till golden

Notes

Your 3 ingredient cheese scones will keep for up to 3 days in a box, reheat before serving. You can freeze them for up to 4 months - defrost and reheat before serving.
Want to add flavours? Then try adding chilli powder, mustard, curry powder, harissa, black pepper or smoked paprika for hotter scones. Or go herbal with any of these; rosemary, sage, thyme, chives or oragano either fresh or dried.
