1/2lemon zestjust the zest use the lemon juice for something different
salt and pepperto taste
Mix all your ingredients together in a big bowl and use your hands to squish everything together really well.
Divide mixture into 4 portions and make into burger patty shapes
Grill on a griddle pan or under a broiler/grill for approximately 5 minutes each side or until cooked through. This will depend on how thick you have made your turkey burgers
I have used fresh herbs, if you are using dried herbs then use half the quantities as dried herbs have double the strength of fresh herbs.Swap out your flavours and have everything from Asian to Greek, Italian to middle eastern style turkey burgers, see notes in my post above for ideas.You can freeze your homemade turkey burgers for up to 6 months.
