Simple Herb Salad Dressing

A super easy dressing that you can make with any combination of herbs you fancy

  • clean jam jar


  • 1 tsp basil chopped fresh
  • 1 tsp oregano chopped fresh
  • 1 tsp rosemary chopped fresh
  • 1 tsp chives chopped fresh
  • 30 ml red wine vinegar
  • 90 ml olive oil
  • salt and pepper


  • Chop the herbs finely and add to the jam jar
  • Pour in the oil and vinegar along with the seasoning and pop on the lid.
  • Shake well and set aside in the fridge for 20 minutes to let the flavours develop.


This salad dressing will keep in the fridge for up to a week in a sealed jar.
Use any combination of herbs that you like.
You can use dried herbs for this recipe but just use 1/4 tsp of each.
