Fig and prosciutto pizza bianca with blue cheese and walnuts

Ingredients
 

pizza dough base

  • 300 g plain flour
  • 1 tsp yeast fast-acting yeast
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

pizza topping

  • 1 small red onion sliced into rings
  • 2-3 figs sliced 2-3mm wide
  • 4 slices prosciutto
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 sprig rosemary finely chopped
  • 4 tbsp dolcelatte or other blue cheese crumbled
  • 2 tbsp walnuts chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp olive oil to drizzle over finished pizza

Instructions
 

  • preheat oven to 200C

pizza dough base

  • Make the pizza dough by bringing together the flour, yeast and salt and the olive oil and enough tepid water to make a workable dough
  • roll out to approx 2mm thick on a piece of baking paper

pizza topping

  • top the rolled out dough with all the other ingredients
  • season with salt and pepper and drizzle over a little olive oil
  • bake for approx 12-15 minutes till the pizza crust is golden and cheese bubbling
