Scrub and dry lemon if it has preservative wax on it and peel off the rind.
Bruise the herbs by bashing about a bit and stuff into a wide mouthed jar.
Add the lemon rind and top with vodka.
Pop on a lid and shake well.
Set aside for 2 weeks shaking every day.
Strain through a paper towel or muslin lined sieve and pour into sterilised bottles.
Serve ice cold (you can keep it in the freezer if you like) in shots or top with tonic or soda with ice and a slice!
