Okay so the sun flowers are not actually in France and Stirling High Street wasn’t quite as warm, but hey, it’s the thought that counts.
Coffee with friends is just as good wherever you are in the globe. Funny how that warming cuppa can losen the tongue and open the heart.
Catch up on the week, news of families, kids, pets, work and activities. Isn’t it funny how other people’s lives always sound so much more interesting than our own? You find yourself thinking how they seem happier, more relaxed, fulfilled and confident. You wish you were too.
But then when you think about it, really just sit still and let the thoughts roll in, you’ve ticked those boxes too in one way or another and they are very probably thinking exactly the same thing about you. They are sitting there leaning in and catching your words, they’re thinking, “Wish I had that, oh boy my kids would never do that, hmmmmm maybe we should go there…..”.
Funny how we always think our thoughts are the only ones.
Look from another perspective, some people don’t actually like coffee!
What, good lord no, holy sh*t, the world as we know it is ending, this can’t be true. Yes some folks don’t like coffee, they may not even like tea. They may only like hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream.
Their choice, their life.
We like different things, we do different things, we talk about different things.
Thank God for that.
Gotta have something to say when we sit down for that coffee, tea, hot chocolate or whatever.
