The Olympics needed games-makers, here we have one real games-maker and her two knitted companions.
My friend Rosemary was lucky enough to be a volunteer helper at the Olympics and had two and a half fabulous weeks in London.
We did a bit of sightseeing this weekend and took the knitted games-makers to the golden post box (painted for Andy Murray’s gold in the tennis) in Dunblane.
Dunblane cathedral, well worth admiring. A village with a cathedral, who’d have thunk it!
Stirling town centre. A beautiful day with sunshine, plus of course coffee, cakes…….
And pretty flowers of course. Wouldn’t be me without a flower pic.
And Rosemary’s far too abundant garden that puts mine to shame completely. Rosemary is a wonderful cook and treated me to some wonderful dishes over the weekend. She is going to guest blog for me on Thursday and give us her Green Bean chutney recipe for Larder Love.
Thanks for a great weekend Rosemary.
