Escapism at it’s very best.
Feeding the ducks and swans. Marvelling at those hooper swans (yellow beaks) whose voices are like a barking cry. Being charmed and touched that after their snack the two find eachother again amid the mass of other swans and swim calmly off together, almost chuntering about the chattering masses they have left behind.
Cool green and walking on pebbly paths.
Looking at flowers, odd angles and changing skies.
Finding lovely wooden sculptures; otters playing in a world of wood.
Watching the fishermen and admiring their patience.
Eating the strawberries that the bears left for us.
A nice day out, thanks Sue.
