Bit of a surprise for me yesterday, I was back on TV again on The Hour. It was a bit of a panic to pull things together for an instant demo, but I decided to do Nasturtium Hot Sauce, simple Mint Sauce and Minty Window Shine.
I'd been planning on the nasturtium sauce for the next appearance, but thought best to use it now as with all the rain we've been having the nasturtiums could vanish any day.
Anyway you might have heard that a certain gentleman was visiting Glasgow yesterday, The Pope. Dire warnings on TV and radio about motorways and other major roads being blocked off and huge delays expected. I do the honourable thing and leave here rediculously early to make sure I'm there in time.
Please note I lease so early and go the wrong direction for the garage/car wash so I arrive an hour and a half early with a car that looks like it has been through the proverbial hedge backwards. Now I know Buggles has no invite into the building and TV itself, but, hey the poor car didn't have to be the clutz of the car park did she. Parked next to shiny big motors with gleaming paintwork and a distinct lack of countryside markings about them. Never mind Buggles, charm will out.
I was much calmer this time, less rabbit in headlights and more chat with everyone. As Michelle (main presenter) was off singing for the Pope we had the amazing Carole Similey instead. Wow, she is the most beautiful and stunning woman I have ever met, and so damn friendly. Hate to say this gals, I couldn't find a flaw!
If you click on the photo of nasturtums etc at the top of this post it should take you to The Hour web site where you can scroll to recent shows, I am on part 3 of yesterdays show. www.stv.tv/thehour
So there you are guys, TV again, so exciting, so much fun. As a certain tv advert say " I'm lovin' it!".
PS will put a full how to on the nasturtium sauce on to "Hands On" later today.
