You will be releived/amazed to know that l have escaped the panto planners unscathed and unencumbered by sewing plans. What joy!! I stood firm (on both feet no less!) when the large village worthy approached me with intent last night, oh there was a temptation to turn and run and head for my pj's and the fireside, but no, l stood my ground and explained that this was my busiest time of year, but should they require panto help at any other time of year then I'm their man. Didn't go down at all well and I am very sure there would have been mutterings amid the stage props, but what the hell. Thank goodness, I had been building myself up all day to say that, so thank you bloggers for backing me up with all your comments the other day.
Does anyone remember the Nasturtium Vinegar l made a few weeks ago? Well here it is, the finished article in all its gorgeous jewel-like glory. It is great on tomatoes, a hot peppery taste. I am very pleased with it.
Today it is pouring with rain and there is a howling gale whistling around us. I am not going to run this morning. Yesterday l had my only run to Wendy's this week (she has started a college course and is only off on a Thursday) and it was great to sit with coffee, chat and 7th Heaven (oh what an admission but we became quite addicted to that show when l popped in on my morning run – l am suffering withdrawal symptoms nowadays). Every other day l have been just running round the lanes and experimenting with different routes, it is not the same.
Carrot stuffing continues, when l get my 20 done today that will be 100 this week. Also on the stuffing rota today are Christmas cakes, Christmas puddings and cat nip mice.
