Those of you with quick wit on a Monday morning will notice that this little fella is not actually part of the Stewarton and Dunlop show that I told you we were going to on Saturday morning.
Well you'd be right, this is a working dinosaur on guard duty in the veggie patch.
We did go down to the village, but soon realised that the show was extremely basic, and anyone not firmly attached to a horse, really was a tad out of place. Displays, stands etc – zilch. Crappy exorbitantly priced children's rides – plenty.
Not our idea of fun, we just back tracked and had lunch in the village.
So we came home. Idgy set up camp in her homemade tepee with a few furry friends and her latest dragon book.
Idgy of course had to have a dragon fruit to go with her dragon obsession. Looks amazing, but has all the taste of dish water and the texture of frog spawn.
This was far better. French radishes served in the French style with salt and butter. Yummy, yummy, yummy!
So what did I do with the weekend? I spring cleaned HQ and hauled everything out of the house (all stock etc) and put it into HQ. It is all spic, span, and really almost unrecognisable.
I also moved back to my own upstairs bedroom from my den in the spare room.
Big moves, exhausted feet. Had to lie in the sun for a while every now and then. How I adore the sunshine.
What did you do at the weekend?
