There used to be a TV programme in UK many, many years ago called ‘The Sky At Night’ all about the stars, planets and constellations etc. Well these pix have nothing to do with that, ain’t no stars round here. These photos were taken the other night at that moment when day is just shifting gently into evening and the sun is casting a pinky glow. I love the sky, you might have guessed as it features in a lot of my photos, I love to look up and see pictures in clouds, imagine being able to paint it, just wallow in the amazing bigness of it all.
Idgy called me through to the kitchen, “Quick Mum, the garden looks like an old photo”. She was right, it really did. This pic hasn’t been photoshopped at all, it really did have that softened almost sepia toned look. It was magical. A real breath in and capture it all moment.
This pic was taken within minutes of the others. All are from different views. This is from the back door looking to the East. The garden pic faces South and the first one was looking west.
One sky, one evening, a pinky hue, so many different looks.
Some things just take your breath.
PS Thanks for all your nice comments on the run. I’m afraid the cold that I was fighting off over the weekend has descended like the sword of Damocles. Had to spend a sorry day yesterday dragging myself backwards and forwards off the sofa while uploading videos of So Easy Herbal to the web. Twenty one trips on my achy old legs. You’ll enjoy the videos tho’, they will be out very, very soon!
