Meet Scabby Cat, he is not an attractive pussy cat.He is not a cozy fireside pet. He looks as if he has fought a few fights and lived many of those nine lives.
He is old and scabby, bald in places with tufts of fur sticking up here and there.
He is shy. Unwanted and unloved. He asks very little in life.
Like Goldilocks, he tries all the food bowls when he visits every evening. Unlike the girl in the fairytail he has no truck with food not being just perfect, our Scabby Cat eats everything in every bowl.
His dining experience over for another day, he leaves the restaurant as quietly as he arrived.
But ah, what’s that another bowl, the hedgehog bowl must be checked out too.
Scabby Cat, a new addition to the menagerie. A silent shadow-like visitor. What is his story, where is he from? how did he end up like this?
Our own cats hate him, this scruffy interloper who steals the food. Idgy and I now round up the cats and keep them in at 6pm. Then silently a little shadow will appear from the bushes and Scabby Cat will enjoy his supper and drift quietly away again.
Scabby Cat – every home should have one.
