Oranges. Tangerines. Nectarines. Clementines. Mandarins. Satsumas. Clementinas.
Call them what you will…..
Size doesn’t matter.
Some big. Some small.
Some seriously sweet. Some tangy and tart.
Some teensy weensy ikkle ones that are SO SO sweet. We have become addicted to these little guys. Clementinas.
Unbelievable. Power packed flavour and juiciness into a cute little 4cm (or 1 1/2 inches if you prefer) round of happiness.
Unfortunately they are £2 a tray and believe me that doesn’t last but a moment in this house. Toy with fantasy of growing fields of these delights, then realise Walton’s Mountain really not cut out for such ventures. Have found myself counting them, hoarding them. Hiding them from my beloved daughter.
Mini oranges are making me mean.
Okay so I’ve cheated here (see I’m completely turning into a nasty person, a cheat as well as an orange thief) and posed a pumpkin in beside the oranges just to make those little darlings look even cuter.
Didn’t really have to bother, they’re cute enough.
Must go and get my fruit fix for the morning. Hmmmmm all that juicy goodness…..
Will have to think of a new hiding place before the school bus gets back.
