What can I say, I’ve seen all the Harry Potter movies and boy did they save the best till last.
It has been ten years of movies, I’ve brought up my daughter on this series. It was with real trepidation that we sallied forth to the Imax in Glasgow yesterday to see the final film.
Would it live up to expectations? Would it exceed the hype? Would the famous Imax experience be all that Idgy had led me to believe?
Yes, yes and yes is the answer.
Think you’ve got the gist of it, I loved the movie and if you can get a chance to see it on an Imax 3D screen go for it. The difference is amazing, you are right in there and part of the action.
Honestly it was exhausting. I fought every baddy, my wand was fairly worn out after two hours of heavy fighting. It was almost a relief when the lights came up and we staggered from the cinema.
I shall miss the famous bespecticaled hero and his fabulous friends. They have fought the good versus evil fight for a decade now and given so much entertainment along the way.
We have even named our beloved Harry the ferret after the hero. Oh the end of an era, goodbye Mr Potter, we’ve loved you every step of the way.
