Here is a little bit of gorgeous colour to brighten up your Wednesday morning. Sometimes the transition period between the winter months and the dawn of Spring can be kind of dull and a wee bit dismal.
The grass doesn’t boast it’s green vibrancy yet and looks more sandy grey than glorious green, flowers aren’t quite there yet. I found this poor little primrose in the woods the other day, a little rain battered but smiling with colour nonetheless.
I need a bit of colour just now. This silly sore hand is being more of a hassle than I thought it would be. It is maddening how really simple things can become chores and tiresome just because of a cut thumb. Sewing is practically impossible, I can’t tie a knot in the thread. Holding anything with my left hand causes it to go all shaky and God forbid that anything actually touches where the cut is under all it’s padding.
Having to change your plans and do other things does make you look at things in a different light though. I’m having to do things this week that I hadn’t planned for, and move this weeks work to next week. I’m all topsy turvy and at odds with myself. Aaaaaaarghhhhhh, this will teach me not to be silly with scissors.
Off to Doc’s for dressing change this morning. Let’s hope for better things.
