Just look at this fabulous blue borrage flower, there it is in all its colourful beauty just yesterday in freezing cold weather after the frost had cleared. Would you beleive that something so pretty and delicate could survive and thrive. I quickly snapped this photo as l don't think this little beauty will stay for long.
Thanks so much for the nice comments about my new display stand. It has been in my head since l did the Country Living fair in March (the horrors of lugging a 4 foot bookcase down a busy staircase soon made my mind whirr in overtime to come up with a different (and flat-pack) display solution) and l am just thrilled that it has actually turned out as l imagined it would. Now lets see if it packs and transports well and most importantly does a good job at the other end. I have decided to use this set up for all 3 of the big fairs this month (eeekk, THIS month!) and will just keep it in the car between fairs and just add in more stock etc to the load. Anything to make life easier.
Did everyone survive the trick or treating last night. Idgy had a fabulous time and came home with a huge bag of sweets and fruit, could start her own shop at this rate! I on the other hand, had a very quiet evening here and had a big bag of sweets and bowl of apples at the front door in case of witches etc coming round. Guess what, they didn't. Felt obliged to eat far too many of the sweets and 2 of the apples before l remembered that they weren't for me in the first place and l wasn't wearing the correct witchy outfit to eat them.
Tonight we have the joys of the school's Hallow'een Ball (yes it is a 'Ball' on the tickets, complete with 'Disco, bar and tuck shop'), can't wait……………….
