I couldn't resist taking this photo yesterday, it is the inside of an old watering can that sits of the deck outside HQ. Almost looks surreal it is to delicate yet the spider web must be very strong to support those droplets of water. Sometimes nature herself takes you by surprize.
Yesterdays post certainly brought in some ideas and thoughts on the 'rush for orders' debate. Like Jane l have sent out little gifts (tiny 'thanks' hearts, fragrant envelope sachets, that sort of thing) but then l worry (of course l do, this is me we are talking about!) that people will expect the little extra and what happens when the cookie jar is empty. I then rush about making the freebies and not making the stock. It is a good idea tho, it gives that extra attention that everyone loves so much.
My main thing is s l o w d o w n. Orders do not have to go out within 15 minutes of my opening the laptop, l am not servicing a life dependant industry. Tracy's post re her friend with breast cancer really brought it back to me as to how small this whole thing is. perspective is a wonderful tool if you can get your hands on it. Lets face it, nobody is going to die if they don't get their Scentiments heart tomorrow morning, the day after will be just as good. Think l should tattoo this on my hand (where l usually scrawl notes to myself) or paint it in large letters on the wall above my desk.
Monday again, bit grey and drizzly outside, time to clean up the house before heading out to HQ. Have a good week everyone.
