Morning gals, here we are on Good Friday and I thought I’d start a new feature on the blog – Friday Favs. This will just be a wee showcase of anything and everything that I have recently found or bought that I really like and fancy sharing with you.
So today we are starting off with these gorgeous goodies I just bought last week from Anthropologie online. I love their colourful and cheerful designs and the fact that the ceramics are good quality.
These mugs for example, have all the charm of those I used to buy in Greece or Spain, but they are much finer and better to drink from.
Over the years I have gone through many phases with my crockery. From a matched patterned dinner set, to robust and classic Denby, to an eclectic mix of hodgepodge vintage that even I had to admit was just way too diverse so I cut back to two colour schemes instead of the entire rainbow! Recently I have gone into white mode for simplicity and ease. I can pick up the odd piece of white china almost anywhere and extend my collection in many directions.
However white is white is white. I wanted some new colour and pizazz. So here it is, brightness and dash to oomph up my basic white.
What plates etc do you use?
Have a great Easter weekend.

I love your colors. This year I am moving toward more color in my house, wardrobe and life.
My absolute faves and the ones we use everyday are my Emma Bridgewater ‘Aricula’ plates and cups, one of her rarer (and therefore harder to get hold of) designs.
I love the bright folours in your new pots, I bet they sing out amongst the white china in a lovely cheerful way.

That should of course say ‘colours’…..lol!!
