Closing up HQ for the winter months. it has been SO cold of late that now the time has come to start moving any worky stuff into the house and make the annual take over bid of the diningroom.
I've also decided to move some of the plants into HQ this winter. My beloved pelegoniums are already in there making the place smell amazing, Rosemary will be going in today as well. Last years frosts wiped out almost 20 Rosemary bushes, this year I'm taking no chances and everything is in pots and able to be moved about at a moments notice. I think that moment has come……
Most of the stock is now ready for the Country Living Fair next month. In fact I'll be putting up a ticket giveaway tomorrow morning. Will also get some photos up of new goodies available and even put something in my shiny new shop page!
Have to say a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to fellow blogger Cherry Ripe in Australia. This lady writes a lovely blog from down under. Her garden looks amazing and she has kangaroos visiting and the most beautiful wild and colourful parrots. Oh and sunshine, SUNSHINE, what joy! Go visit her blog at www.scribblingsfromjumbunna.blogspot.com.
So it's wet and wild here, and right now cold and dark too. Winter is coming, Christmas on the way. There you go, depressing thought for the day – the big Christmas word.

Well, we are having cyclonic type weather here in northwest Indiana. We have not had a weather system like this since 1940. Thunderstorms, tornado warnings and watches and very high winds up to 60 MPH. The high winds will be around until Thursday. Mother Nature at work, that is for sure. I think the temps have dropped 20 degrees since this morning. Sounds like you are getting yourself ready for winter, Karon. The summer goes by entirely too fast. I guess I am more aware of time as I approach my 50th birthday here in a few weeks. Whrre does the time go? Take care.
