I have graduated from the sofa in the living room, to an old wicker armchair and pile of cushions on other chair in the kitchen. Well at least for half of the day. Different view (garden as opposed to hedge and lane in front house) and easy access to full sized kettle. Alas also easy access to fridge and aga. Definite no-no, must not fall into that scary land of 'see food and eat it' – the seefood diet.
Above photo was taken from the kitchen window. Excuse the blurriness. Felt I just had to use it anyway.
I'm getting some great fabric stash ideas from our Book Giveaway. Some people have their own workrooms, the spare room seems to be commandeered on a regular basis. You crafters seem to stake a claim to any part of the house, with boxes, bags and baskets in any room, under beds (a favourite), attics, wardrobes (some even with extra cupboard fitted inside for the stash), spare room drawers. Nowhere is safe from the fabric stash!
Keep sending in your stash info to be in with a chance to win this great new crafting book.
Oh look, same butterfly, still blurry. What the heck, it is pretty and colourful.
Last night Idgy decided to make BIG plans for her birthday on 29th. She wants to take a small group of pals to the cinema then back here for tea. Oh joy, really don't see what is wrong with McDonalds etc for this food fest.
Anyway guys I need some ideas for things I can make for my soon-to-be-twelve-year-old's birthday tea. The last birthday party she had at home was when she was eight, I guess things have moved on a tad since then. All ideas welcome.
Have a nice day!
