I love nectarines and peaches, to me they are the taste of summer, all juicy and sweet and bursting with flavour. While the fruit on it’s own is wonderful, or mixed as part of a salad for a healthy dessert, try this tasty treat for something different.
For one serving of Baked Nectarines with Thyme and HoneyYou will need;
1 teaspoon of fresh thyme leaves or half teaspoon of dried thyme
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon honey
Bake in a moderate oven for 20-30 minutes or until they are cooked through and soft to the fork. Don’t let them over cook or they will lose shape altogether.
