This is Baby asleep in the herb bed. My poor catnip plants really take a hammering with the over zealous felines round here, and l mostly have to grow it in hanging baskets. I do have a few of these plants in the herb beds just because l know the cats love it so much and get a real kick from rolling about in it. I reckon that as long as l can grow enough to use in my secret ‘Meow Mix’ blend for the Cat Knit Mice then the cats can enjoy some in the herb beds for recreational use so to speak.
I have just heard from Jane at Snapdragon that the September issue of Country Living has reached some of its trusty subscribers, and that the article about Dream Acres is in there and looks great. I am so excited about this and just can’t wait to get my copy. In fact l just received an email from a lovely lady who said she had gone on to my web site after reading the article and even checked out the blog and asked after Martha. All seems a bit unreal really, it will be more ‘real’ when l see it for myself l guess. Dread to think what l look like in it tho, since it was written and photographed l have lost over 3 stone in weight (and beleive me l needed to). Just my luck to have my big media break when l wasn’t looking my sartorial best, but there again, am l ever!
On that note l shall leave you for the evening and go for a walk in the garden and a chat to a cat……….
