Last week Idgy and I watched "Sleepy Hollow" on TV, I really admired the almost but not quite monochromatic scenery, the ghostly floating mists and general unearthly spookiness of the settings. Okay so the head chopping wasn't great, but hey the backgrounds were fab!
When we woke up the other morning it really looked like we had been transported to Sleepy Hollow at 7am.
These were taken at the back door.
Now for those waiting for photos of the village Christmas fair on Friday, I have a horrible admission to make. I forgot to take my camera. Yes, I know, what a pratt, especially after doing Friday's post all about remembering the stuff you need when you are doing a fair. Duh, I'd be dangerous if I had a brain!
The fair went really well, in fact I did the best I ever had at that event, so was very pleased. What made my night tho, was meeting up with my old pal Sue Quinn (www.bearsbysuequinn.co.uk) who makes the most amazingly gorgeous bears and woodland animals. We met years ago when I used to make miniature teddy bears and did bear fairs around the country. Since then we catch up annually at Country Living and Hopetoun house fairs. Idgy adores her work and is an avid collector of the woodland animals. She gets one for Christmas and saves up her pocket money for seeing Sue and buying the little outfits for the animals.
If you want to cheer up your Monday morning following my link to Sue's site and see all her fabulous furry friends. They are guaranteed to bring an "aaaah" moment to your coffee break.
Have a good day,
