“Good Morning” – Don’t you just love her, ain’t she purty with her heart on her head? She is calm and dignified, but with just a little touch of fun and quirkiness about her. Note the hair do, just a tad off the forehead, a fun little curl – oh yes she is a gal with attitude this one!
“What are you looking at?”, “Haven’t you seen a gorgeous gal like me before?”
It’s cow time folks! Yes the bovines are taking over the blog today, and why not, they are beautiful! You see the weather was great yesterday so I went for a run first thing. Just like the old days I had my canon in my pocket and the road at my feet. Couldn’t stop snapping, there were ‘stories’ happening everywhere, and here’s the cow one. Home an hour later with 110 pix in the camera and hours of sifting and sizing ahead of me – fun!
The fields are full of calves just now. It’s nursery land and these inquisitive creatures following you with their gaze. Some are just so darn cute, all fluffy and big eared, like a mismatched Bamby with a bulkier body.
“Hellooooo” looking for Mum, this one’s not Mum, why do all Mums look so similar, she must be around here somewhere?
You’d think she’s wear a sign or something? Could be hunting around here for hours, Oh look there’s Auntie Daisy and cousin Gertrude, “Hi ladies, have you seen my Mum?”
I am a man on a mission!
“There you are!”, isn’t my Mum great, what a looker. Oh no, don’t kiss me in public, soooooo embarrassing. oho, here’s Dad as well. He is a bit of a bully sometimes, wish you’d cleaned up a bit Dad, one of those bipeds is taking photos of us.
Family photo, as they say round these parts “Maw, paw and the wains”. Look there’s my brother, hmmm he had to pop up for this one didn’t he, no show without punch.
Okay I’m off, gotta have another adventure. Why does she keep watching me and taking pictures?
Hey hey this is fun, this stuff just gets deeper and deeper. Wonder if I can get lost in the jungle of reeds and grasses, my brother will never find me!
What’s that I hear, oh no, Dad’s on the warpath again, I’d recognise that booming voice anywhere. “Will yae get oot o’ that lang grass”. Do wish he wouldn’t sound quite so Scottish sometimes!
Cute Calf (and her with the camera thingy) x
