This is 'Woody' the latest (and possibly the last) of Idgy's snowmen. Personally l like him best, he really has a rugged sort of charm.
Snow flowers have sprung to mind of late.
My flowery wellies have made flower patterns in the snow. Idgy and l had great fun doing these while waiting for the school bus. Thank goodness nobody could see us leaping about trying not to put a foot wrong in our snow designing mission.
A great beleiver in 'leaving things in the garden' (chairs, buckets, wateringcans you name it – some call it laziness……..) Idgy's wind flower has been there for months and looks just as pretty in snow.
I love the snow, and l have to say this snowy season has made my home area so beautiful. It is delightful, pretty, Christmas-card-ish, charming, delovely you know what l mean. It has just been a joy to behold. I have walked around clutching a camera and fairly burned up the batteries in my quest to capture it all.
This morning the sky is bright, bright blue and the snow is frozen solid. It is minus 4 degrees up here on the hill. The weather man says we are in for a change. I shall miss this beauty, this dreamland of silence and stillness. This little piece of peace.
It is bloody cold tho………..
