Oh what a tangled web we weave.
Whether we are tieing ourselves up in knots with work, entangling ourselves in relationships and people problems, or just getting all knotted up inside – it all feels like ropes and ties and binding sometimes.
When life gets you knotted and wound up there is always the urge to pull, pull back, pull forward, just bloody well pull someway to get out of it.
Don’t do it.
Pulling at the knot, the ball of string, the tangle of wires just makes it all worse. Ok for a brief moment you might just get a wee bit of slack there, you feel releif. But wait, all of a sudden that tangle will be even worse, the knot will be tighter and ever and even more difficult to dislodge.
Step back, take it slowly and untangle yourself a little bit at a time. Say Thank You and Well Done with every lessening of the knots. Feel the releif of the releasing as you go.
Sooner or later that snarl up will be all straightened out and life will be fine again.
