Hi guys, I'm back and bunion free. Just how unglamerous is that, bunion removal, even the name for these painfully horrid things is as ugly as the things themselves. You will be pleased to know that I did it in style. thankfully the national health service have a time limit on operation waiting lists, if they can't fit you in they will ship you off to the private sector. What joy, my bunions were removed in 5 star luxury and serious style. Okay so i still have hugely bandaged feet complete with metal work inside (what fun at the airport security!) and they are bloody painful, but just think of fancy flip flops in the summer. See me in France this summer with tanned and straight feet, oh the joy the joy the joy.
Anyway while we are on the subject of France lets get started on those photos I have been promising you. So sit back, raise that coffe cup to your lips and enjoy…..
Come with me along the quiet streets of San Sever, tone in with Ann in her shades of blue. First day there and clear blue skies and sunshine. Cold nights filled with stars, so many crowding the sky. Hollywood is put to shame by their number.
Food for thought.
Treats in store.
We ladies on the Brocante trial, the hunt is on. No stone unturned, no book unread. We are women on a mission. We are treasure hunters.
Maps to find the way.
The coffee addict in me finds pot and cups to add a special something to my morning cuppas.
Lovely linens, country reds on crispest napkins, soft towels and kitchen clothes. All will add the lifeblood of colour to my kitchen at home.
An old case, Dr Findley or Nanny McPhee. Charm and character in every worn stitch, scratch and scuff mark on leather. Mine, a file box, home for my laptop, modern world in aged home.
Ornate knives to furnish my table. French style found in everyday places. Simple items with a dash of charm.
A well practiced buyer my friend Lisa determined to get our finds into the car. The seats are moved with practiced ease. A set of wicker furniture, old deckchairs ready to be recovered and welcome the summer. Linens, cuttlery, baskets and bowls.
These are our treasures. A good day at the hunt.
