The flowers were out in force in France. I was in my element as you know how much I love flowers of all types. Their colours and textures, scents and sensuality.
Hyderangea in a froth of pinkness that makes me think of candyfloss and fun fairs.
Roses so gentle and delicate, pale blooms with perfume that captures the heart.
Colours, the purple lilac, so sweet of scent, a tumbling joyful flower that looks almost like the fruit of the vines in the clusters that fall amid the climbing green of the leaves.
More deep purple that looks so stunning against a simple wall.
Sunflowers, need I say more….
White flowers drooping in the heat of the day, their petals and leaves waiting patiently for the dew that will form in the night.
Geraniums, well it wouldn’t be France without them would it?
