Bravery can be displayed in many ways.
These young men at the Course Landais show courage in every moment they are in the bull ring. That massive animal can bring them down and tear them to bits.
When it happens the others gather round to help and encourage him to get back up and fight again.
In all twists and turns of life we need courage and strength, sometimes it feels that it is there already and we can cope quite well. Other times it takes a lot of inner digging to drag out that courage and stand straight and face your demons.
At the end of the Course Landais this boy won the trophy. He had been brought down three times, at moments the crowd gasped as he managed yet again to drag himself up and face the terrors again.
He showed so much courage, he was an inspiration.
You don't need a sparkly jacket, mad cow and a bull ring yo know that there is fear to be conquored and fear to be dealt with.
Courage is displayed in many, many ways. The smile on a dear brothers face when you know he is broken inside. That hug and arm on your shoulder that covers the inner tremmors. You know how much that smile and hug have cost him, this is courage.
From the big to the small, courage is there.
