The other day I popped out for lunch with Sheila. She suggested going to a place out by her house (she has just moved) that has a lovely little farm shop and a play barn.
Now why she would imagine I’d be interested in the play barn left me just a tad confused, but hey, what the heck, let that one go and onwards to lunch.
Lunch is lovely. The farm shop is wonderful. The veggies fairly sing and dance in their freshness (well okay that’s maybe a wee bit of an exaggeration). There is even a life sized wooden cow ‘grazing’ by the porch.
It has been a nice lunch and a great chat. The day is going well.
Then there is the play barn.
And in the play barn is an ikkle baby calf just two days old. Now how cute is that little fella.
The sign by the door may be just a tad out of date, but you get the drift. You will also get a hint at who’s coming next…..
Now that’s what I call a special treat. A reindeer, Rudolph himself of course. I was as excited and happy as any five year old when I saw him.Just look at that liquid eye, and those fluffy white feet, aaaaahhhhhhhhh………
Oh Sheila you know me well. “Come for lunch, I’m sure you’ll like the play barn”, you bet I did.
